Tri. On the 4th of July

     The Tri. on the 4th of July to be held at Sunrise Lake, Lewis Morris Park in Morristown is an Olympic and/or sprint distance triathlon open to the public to benefit (presently only the runners and Karl and his pals, a worthy non profit group to be announced). The Tri. On the 4th of July is an ideal way to get back into or break into triathlons. It's also an outstanding warm for any 4th of July picnic. The race begins at 7:30am in the park and includes an Olympic swim.9 miles or .5 miles sprint swim. Next is a 40 K Olympic or 20K sprint bike race, followed by 10k and 5k runs respectively.  It all wraps up with a super cook out with prizes, awards and displays in the park.
